NEA Part 5 - Moodboard - My Mood Board
Learning Objectives:
- K: the advantages and disadvantages of using a mood board to inspire content of new media product.
- U: how different types of images and fonts can affect the way audiences consume media texts.
- BAT: produce a mood board that illustrates your initial ideas for your media product.

What brief did you choose?
I chose an educational magazine.
What are the minimum requirements for your chosen production?
5 Original Images
Front cover:
Strapline
Original masterhead/title
cover price, barcode, edition number
Three cover lines at least one that links to the double page spread article
Double page spread article:
Headline,sub-headings,stand-first
300 words in article
What is the target audience as prescribed in the brief?
10-13 year old's
What is your target audience for the product you're creating? (this needs to link to the audience profiling post).
My target audience for the product is 11 to 12 year old's.
TASK 3 - Write an introduction to the task.
TASK 4 - Create a series of mood boards that give an indication of the types of images (may include photos and/or illustrations), overall colour scheme, types of fonts and colours you are considering using in your production.
TASK 5 - When you finish the mood boards you need analyse them answering the following questions
It helped me because I now know which authors I could talk about. My Overall colour scheme would be light blue and white. I will use images of kids reading books and books itself. I will use bold font for my header and normal for the text writing. i will use a range of props to make my photos look as realistic as possible.
