NEA Part 6 - Product Style Profile



Learning Objectives:
  • K: the importance of sketches and planning in the decision making process of creating a magazine.
  • U: how to use sketches to influence your stylistic decisions.
  • BAT: undertake a creative task in which you start the decision making process in terms of style of your magazine.

TASK 2 - Write an introduction to the task that combines the learning objectives into a short paragraph.

I am going to learn the importance of sketching and planning. This will help me when I make my magazine. This will help choose the styles I want to use in my magazine.


TASK 3 - PLANNING PART 1 Produce up to 3 different sketches of each of the pages you need to create.  These sketches should show a development journey from initial ideas to a final one.

What my peers thought of this front cover was that it was good. They had no problem with my front cover, however I thought that I could improve because my title does not stand out enough. I'm going to make my pictures smaller and my title bigger so it stands out.


TASK 4 - PLANNING PART 2

Individually (but do help each other), produce actual photographic material or video shots you'll potential use in your products.  You may go outside to take these pictures or footage if you think it's relevant to what you're doing.










Plenary:
I found this task very helpful because now I have an idea for how my magazine. The peer feedback was not helpful as they said they have nothing wrong with my draft whilst I did.

Intertextuality Research -  INTERTEXTUALITY IN THE MEDIA TASK 2 - WRITE A SHORT INTRODUCTION EXPLAINING WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO IN THIS TASK.
